Kanute Rarey, Instructor
Kanute Rarey is an avid storyteller with a vivid imagination. He has entertained audiences as a storyteller, writer and event producer.
Kanute is creator and host of a weekly story ZOOM gathering, a monthly OPEN MIC Night, a monthly STORIES OF APPALACHIA program at John C. Campbell Folk School and an annual community theater series called SCRIBES ON STAGE.
He has a Bachelors degree in Education from Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Georgia State University.
Kanute is the proud grandfather of five and loves to sled in the snow every chance he gets. It is also said, “From family to fable to tall tales, no story is safe as he draws you to the edge of your chair and back again.”
Kanute is a member of the Georgia Storytelling Network and we are excited to welcome him to our team of instructors this session.
