Mrs. Claus Diane Drake, Instructor

Santa Bob and Mrs. Diane Claus have been married for 59 years and have a wonderful family of 2 children, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. They have worked together and separately with children for all of their adult lives, in music, drama, and teaching. In
recent years, they have worked with special needs children and adults in their church as well as when working as Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Santa Bob and Mrs. Diane Claus have been a part of the Christmas performer community for 12 years and plan to participate for many more. They particularly enjoy working directly with children, interacting with them in singing, reading and performing short skits.

They feel that knowing what children want and need is important in finding out what they want for Christmas. Watching current children’s movies and programs helps in determining what to expect them to ask for. It also helps to be able to understand those characters and toys in order to successfully interact with the children.

While it is important to know the old and established toys that continue to be popular, they also believe that one must research current trends each year to ensure that one is aware of what is new.  So Santa Bob and Mrs. Diane Claus are excited to join our team of instructors this session to teach a class on the Most Asked-For Toys of 2026!
