A home visit is so much more than taking pictures and requests. In this class, Santa Lee Andrews will cover how to make your home visits more entertaining and memorable. This session will cover ideology on timing home visits, ways to delight both children and adults alike, tips and tricks for non-believers, and methods behind why home visits turn out the way they do sometimes. Santa Lee will also discuss the art of the “Sneak-A-Peak” and the responsibility that goes along with these treasured visits. Learn how you can hit it out of the park and make your homes visits a special event at the March session of the Northern Lights Santa Academy.

As part of our approach to Santa education, we screen registered students to determine what they most want to learn, so that we can tailor each school session to the specific need of the attendees. Based on the requests of our enrolled students, we have added two additional classes to our March 3rd-4th session on The Art of Storytelling: Exploring Your Santa/Mrs. Claus Persona and Advanced Storytelling Techniques.

We are honored to host six special needs children and their families for a special “Visits with Santa” workshop during our April Session. This workshop will focus on children with Autism, Aspergers and Down Syndrome.  As the children visit with our pre-selected Santas, the class will be able to observe each visit in real time. The live demonstration and observation session will be followed by a facilitated group discussion.
